I think on This Day today a coaching debut would be perfect considering the six degrees of Columbus as Todd Richards makes his debut tonight. As we all know, this is a business and there is always a winner and a loser. That is why today we went with another coach who debuted on this day just 15 years ago. This coach won a Stanley Cup and has made a few stops on the NHL Coaching Carousel. First there will be the video and then the moment.     January 10, 1996 Detroit's Chris Osgood recorded his fourth shutout of the season (and the 7th of his career) as the Red Wings won 4-0 at Dallas. Detroit spoiled the NHL coaching debut of the Stars' Ken Hitchcock.
