OKLAHOMA CITY -- Golden State coach Mark Jackson has no problem admitting the Thunder provide the blueprint for what he wants his team to become. However, the Warriors don't have a Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook to build around just yet, and that difference was apparent Sunday when Oklahoma City beat Golden State 119-109 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. The Thunder had a 94-73 lead to start the fourth quarter, and it looked like the Oklahoma City starters were done for then night. But the Warriors went on a 12-4 run to start the period. That forced Brooks to bring Durant and Westbrook back into the game. But momentum had shifted to the road team and Golden State closed to within seven points with 5:48 left in the game. That would be as close as the Warriors would get. Serge Ibaka and Kevin Martin knocked down a pair of jumpers to push the Thunder advantage back into double figures, and Westbrook and Durant scored the next seven points to put the game away. Wes...

Russell Westbrook monster dunk on Golden State

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook is probably the most explosive guard in the NBA. Yesterday in a game against Golden State his athletic ability was once again on display. In the second quarter of the game Kevin Durant pulled down a rebound and gave and outlet pass to Westbrook. From there Westbrook did the rest. He dribbled down the court and threw down monster dunk...

Durant leads Thunder past Warriors

Kevin Durant notched his first career triple-double with 25 points, 13 rebounds and a career-high 10 assists, and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Golden State Warriors 119-109 on Sunday night. The three-time NBA scoring champion has had growing pains this season as he has tried to improve his floor game, with a bump in his assist number coinciding with an increase in his turnovers...

Russell Westbrook Dunks on Stephen Curry for ‘Thunderous Finish’ (Video)

Russell Westbrook is kind of an explosive player, so when he gets the ball on the break, opponents would be smart to just let him do his thing. Stephen Curry was not willing to do so on Sunday, though, and he paid for it. Curry became the latest poster victim at the hands of Westbrook, who hammered home a dunk over the helpless Warriors guard to the delight of the crowd at Chesapeake...

Warriors-Thunder Preview

Kevin Durant continues to be one of the league's best scorers, and the Oklahoma City Thunder are reaping the benefits. That figures to be no different at home Sunday night against the Golden State Warriors, as some of Durant's best work has come against them. The Warriors, though, hope a newfound toughness can help them slow down Durant and match their longest winning streak...

Durant registers triple-double as Thunder dump Warriors

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson has no problem admitting the Thunder provide the blueprint for what he wants his team to become. "This is certainly a model," Jackson said. "They had a tough time early on, winning 20-something games and going through the process. But give this front office, ownership, coaching staff a lot of credit. They...
