World golf No. 1 Tiger Woods arrived in Australia aboard his private jet Monday, days ahead of his first appearance in an Australian tournament in 11 years.
Woods will receive A$3.3 million (US$3 million) in appearance fees to play in the A$1.5 million Australian Masters, which starts at Melbourne's Kingston Heath course on Thursday.
The most recent of Woods' three previous tournament appearances in Australia was as a 21-year-old member of the U.S.
