The Victory Formation:
Lest you think we would go one calendar day without some type of “news” regarding soon to be Patriots’ practice squad Quarterback Tim Tebow, take heart; just because it’s a slow time in NFL news coverage does not mean there’s no Tebow story to be written. In fact, as the MLB All-Star game is about a month away, it seems like the perfect time to read about the baseball prospects of the former three-sport High School star. Yes, it appears that had Tebow not had a driving passion to underwhelm fanbases in the NFL, he could have been enjoying the basement of the AL West with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, the team that had fully intended to draft Tebow if he had officially declared for the MLB Draft. The report, from NFL.com, cites current Red Sox (and former Angels) scout Tom Kotchman in an interview with WEEI Radio in Boston last week: If Tebow had returned his information card to the Angels, “we were going to take him,” said Kotchman, who was scouting for the team at the time. Apparently, Kotchman wasn’t the only person who believed that Tebow was a baseball prospect with some serious potential. He [...]

Before he became a household name with stops in Denver, New York, and now New England, Tim Tebow nearly went a different way with his career.
In an interview with WEEI, Boston Red Sox scout Tom Kotchman revealed that the Los Angeles Angels were prepared to draft Tebow out of high school.
“We wanted to draft him,” Kotchman, who worked for the Angels at the time, said. “But...
According to ESPN, the New York Jets will be paying Tim Tebow more money this season than the Patriots will over the next two years if he makes their roster.

Newly signed Patriots quarterback Tim Tebow has a fan in Patriots owner Bob Kraft. Kraft was on CNBC’s “Summer on the Street” program, and according to ESPN Boston, said he hopes Tebow makes the Patriots roster, and called him the “real deal.”
“I don’t get why people wouldn’t relate to this guy big-time,” Kraft said Friday. “For us, it was a great opportunity...
Tim Tebow might be in another uniform, in an entirely different city, but the New York Jets are still paying for that debacle literally.
ESPN New York is reporting that the Jets will actually pay more for Tebow than his actual team, the Patriots.
Last week, the Patriots signed Tebow to a two-year contract with no guarantees. The deal will reportedly pay him $1.36 million total...
It's been a heck of a year for young Tim Tebow. He never really got the chance to play, got passed over for the No. 3 guy after the team finally benches Mark Sanchez, and eventually gets cut. Rex Ryan and the New York Jets organization really pulled the wool over his eyes by making him--and the rest of us--believe that he was going to be a secret weapon.
Things a Jersey guy took note of this week: The Tim Tebow story moved to New England when the Patriots announced they had signed Tebow to a 2-year contract. With that announcement, the feeding frenzy which accompanies any Tebow-related news began. Reporters from New York, where Tebow “played” last season with the Jets arrived in… Read More
Even when the New England Patriots are signing a third string Quarterback, they can still embarrass the New York Jets.
Yes, after the numbers have been crunched, it turns out Tim Tebow will cost the Jets more in 2013 than he'll cost the Pats in both 2013 and 2014. Here's the eventual conclusion of Yahoo Sports after their calculations.
Tebow currently has a $755,000...

C.J. DeSimone of the C and C Football Factory show on BlogTalk Radio, which OJT's Brian Johnson just guested on, gives his thoughts on Tebow as a Pat.
New York Jets’ owner Woody Johnson once said when asked about the acquisition of QB Tim Tebow, “…you can never get enough Tebow!”
We soon watched in horror as the Tim Tebow saga unfolded...
Patriots quarterback Tim Tebow has had some rough luck as an NFL player, so I wonder if he’s had that what if moment when it comes to possibly playing a different sports some years back.
WEEI is reporting that Tebow was almost drafted nearly drafted by the L.A. Angels coming out of high school. Tom Kotchman, a Florida area scout for the Boston Red Sox, told WEEI that the Angels...
The Jets are still paying for the epic failure that was the Tim Tebow experiment last season — in more ways than one. Aside from the dismal 6-10 season, complete front office revamp, and utter destruction of what little confidence Mark Sanchez had left already — not to mention Tebow is currently on the arch-rival New England Patriots’ roster, the Jets still have more to pay...
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft would be thrilled to see a high-character guy like Tim Tebow make his club's 53-man final roster.
New England and frankly all of the country was buzzing over the Patriots signing Tim Tebow this past week. Some Pats fans were tweeting in agony thinking that Tebow was going to take snaps from Tom Brady. Drew Bledsoe has more of a shot playing QB by coming out of retirement for the Pats under Bill Belichick.
Belichick is a brilliant strategist when it comes to bringing out the...
