Pacers Insider:
THE `BURBS - NBA teams can sign players and officially complete trades Wednesday.
As teams like Boston, the Lakers, Atlanta, Detroit and Toronto will be busy signing their players, Pacers officials will continue working the phones trying to complete deals.
That was expected considering the Pacers' financial situation.
Some of you don't see it that way, though. You expect Larry Bird and Co. to automatically be able to make a deal.
The problem the Pacers may face as the summer goes on is that they have to get players to not only take less money because of the tough economy but also come be part of a team that will likely have a tough time making the playoffs next season.
That's not an easy sell.
Take Shannon Brown for example.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Brown passed up more money from the Pacers to re-sign with the Lakers for two years and $4.2 million.
As far as trades go, some of you continue to suggest packaging Jamaal Tinsley in a deal.
