The Final Six: Traveling to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the third of four straight races on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule, championship contender Timothy Peters is ready to bounce back from two weeks of adversity in the Smith's 350 on Saturday night. Slipping out of the top two positions to third place in the series championship point standings for the first time this season, Peters and his Red Horse Racing team are putting the previous races in the rear view and focusing on the final six races of the season.
Improving on his race performance and finishes every year since his first start at the 1.5-mile track in 2005, Peters led several laps in 2011 en route to a track personal best third place finish. With a similar setup for his No. 17 Toyota Tundra in mind, Peters is confident he will have another strong outing.
