Titus Young’s Twitter activity always has been … interesting, to say the least. Early Tuesday morning, Young was back at it, briefly offering a message to Detroit Lions fans before deleting everything he’s ever tweeted.
“I apologize to the Detroit fans, Thank you, for the 2 years of Love and joy,” Young tweeted at 1:07 a.m. ET, according to the Detroit Free Press. But moments later, Young redacted that comment and, as of 10 a.m. Tuesday, Young’s account displayed zero tweets.
A once-promising receiver in Detroit, Young was cut in January after a series of on- and off-field issues. He then signed with the St. Louis Rams but was released again within a week.
Young currently remains a free agent, and there has been very little buzz about him signing elsewhere.
BEST OF MAXIM
The Saint Louis Rams have began their voluntary offseason condition program today, along with most of the other league, excluding the ones who started 2 weeks ago.
There will be no contact during the conditioning period, or really any football related activities, save for the quarterbacks who will be throwing to uncovered receivers.

According to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free-Press, it’s only a matter of time before the Lions and quarterback Mathew Stafford agree on a long-term extension. It’s just a matter of time before the sides agree on a long-term deal that will keep Stafford in Detroit for years to come at a price that probably tops $100 million. Both sides want it to happen, both sides need it...
Monday the Detroit Lions came to terms with free agent offensive tackle Jason Fox on a one-year deal. Injuries have limited him to just five appearances in three years. If he can remain healthy though, he would become a major boost to the offensive line, most likely at the right tackle position.

A proud franchise with a crazed fan base has had some bad, bad drafts and many of them involve Matt Millen. The team has also added some incredible individual talents. Lets look at the best picks in the history of the Detroit Lions since 1980!
Former Detroit Lions kicker Errol Mann died last week at the age of 71 at his home in Missoula, Mont., according to the Missoulian newspaper.
Mann, who used a straight-on kicking style, played for the Lions from 1969-76. He ranks third in club history with 141 field goals.
The Detroit Lions came to terms with free agent wide receiver Brian Robiskie on a one-year deal Monday. He will be fighting for a roster spot in camp and is not guaranteed anything.

ST. LOUIS We've nearly arrived again, my friends. One week until the hopes of football fans no longer hinge on fruitless mock predictions. Seven days until the NFL Draft shows its much-anticipated hand.
How will the St. Louis Rams fare?
The answer could be the key to a team that's trying to right the ship after a 22-73-1 record the past six seasons. Or, it could be what...
The Detroit Lions have come to terms with RB Joique Bell on a one-year deal Monday. He will backup newcomer Reggie Bush as the receiving back.

Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young tweeted an apology late Monday night directed towards Lions fans but deleted it afterwards. Then he added a tweet that said “Thank Jesus Amen,” but deleted that quickly too. He currently doesn’t have any tweets and is only following six people, one of which is Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor.
Perhaps it’s time...
The might be the off-season of $100 million contracts. Joe Flacco and Tony Romo are finished. Aaron Rodgers is close to finishing his deal and we can add one name to that list.
The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the Lions and star quarterback Matthew Stafford on working on a long term deal will probably put him up there with Romo and Flacco.
The Lions, who have spent the...
Round One (5th overall pick)
OT from Central Michigan – Eric Fisher
Has this pick become obvious or is there still a debate about it? For me I don’t think there’s any debate on it. This pick has to be an offensive lineman whether it’s the two best offensive tackles in the draft in Eric Fisher or Luke Joeckel… or possibly the two best guards in Jonathan Cooper or Chance...
