I would be a great choice. I’m smart, I work well with others, and I’m a team player. I would bring a decade and a half of playing experience, two decades of fandom, and about a year of baseball blogging experience with me. I’m definitely what you would consider well informed. I’m audacious enough to make the big move but wise enough to know when to stand firm. I have about a week more than 2 1/2 years of college education and, though I’ve never been to Los Angeles, I know I would fit in great.
I know that money is always important and if I want to be part of an ownership group I would have to bring more than baseball expertise with me. So, I hereby pledge 100% of the half the proceeds of this blog (my share) towards the purchase and operation of the Dodgers.
Still not convinced? Here are just a few of the things I would do as part-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers:
Aggressively pursue Prince Fielder: James Loney is currently a below-average offensive f...

The Tigers made a big splash by signing Prince Fielder to a long-term deal. Fielder’s bat has always been a boon, and the lineup will appreciate his help.
It’s the other side of the game that will take a hit with the addition — Fielder is not known for his glove, and neither is incumbent Miguel Cabrera. How will the roster settle this season? And what will it look like...
Prince Fielder Finally Signs, Not With The Nats
Whoa, boy. Detroit signed Prince Fielder to a nine-year, $214 million deal, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Heyman. That’s two years and $54 million than WaPo’s Adam Kilgore speculated he’s worth. So, good.
All the best to Prince in Detroit, where his pop used to play, which is weird.

As Fielder exits, Brewers will move forward
It's been obvious for months, but on Tuesday it became reality. Prince Fielder, drafted by the Brewers nine years ago and developed into one of baseball's most feared sluggers, is moving on.
Reyes, Pujols or Fielder?
The Eagle has landed. The last of the “big” Mohicans, Prince Fielder, has finally agreed to a mega-deal and now has a new home in Motor City… Rah, rah, or better yet, vroom, vroom…
So now that the dust has settled, here is an interesting question first posed by Mets historian and ESPN New York statistician Mark Simon who asked via Twitter:

Prince Fielder Rumors: Monday
It's hard to imagine that anything's holding back the market for Prince Fielder at this point. Albert Pujols signed more than a month ago, Yu Darvish and the Rangers worked out a deal, and agent Scott Boras has taken the time to introduce Fielder to some MLB owners. It doesn't seem likely that a new suitor for the powerful free agent first baseman will emerge if...
