The scales finally tipped for good for Terrell Owens on November 5th, 2005. Even with the self-aggrandizing behavior, the bizarre press conferences, the in-team feuds, the questioning of the coaching staff, and everything else, Owens had been dynamic enough a receiver to at least partly justify the headache. But at some point enough was going to be enough, and the straw that broke Andy Reid's back may have come when Owens lashed out at the organization for failing to properly acknowledge his 100th TD catch. T.O. was suspended indefinitely for "conduct detrimental the team."
The ugliness didn't end there. Less than a week later, Owens held the infamous "Next Question" conference, where agent Drew Rosenhaus answered a barrage of questions with that unhelpful two-word deflection (remarkably, not even the weirdest or most unnerving press conference of TO's career). Then after the suspension (eventually settled at four games) was up, the Eagles simply resigned Owens to the bench for the rest of the season. He was released in March of 2006, and signed with the Cowboys. TO never played another game in the Green and White.
