A funny thing happened on Manu Ginobili’s way to the rim Saturday night in the final seconds of the third quarter of the Spurs’ 108-99 victory over the Suns at the AT&T Center. But nobody was laughing. Smacked in the head by Suns guard Shannon Brown, Ginobili ended up in a heap on the court under the Spurs basket, players from both teams pushing and shoving, referees separating potential combatants. Brown was charged with a flagrant foul, penalty-2, and ejected from the game. (VIDEO) “I thought that was very dirty,” point guard Tony Parker said. “He didn’t need to do that. I think it was a big momentum change. Definitely everybody looked at each other and said, ‘You know what, let’s finish them.’?” via Mike Monroe, Spurs Nation
