Found May 13, 2011 on Dodgers Locker:
23-year old switch-hitting CF Trayvon Robinson came into this season as the Dodgers’ #10 prospect heading into the 2011 season according to Baseball America. He is showing why so far this year. Robinson has played in 31 games in AAA-ball so far this year and he is 38 for 118 (.322 avg, .987 OPS) with 23 runs scored, 7 homers, 22 RBIs and 3 stolen bases. His big weakness so far has been making contact as he has whiffed 36 times already this year. Robinson has now played in 599 games in his first 7 years in the minors and he is 622 for 2,191 (.284 avg, .780 OPS) with 356 runs scored, 45 homers, 254 RBIs and 144 stolen bases. I think if Robinson keeps hitting like he is right now the Dodgers might give him a call at some point in 2011, but he won’t be playing CF unless Matt Kemp gets hurt or dealt.
