The Browns won't be going into training camp without their young star runner as was previously feared according to a report from Mary Kay Cabot of The Plain Dealer. Richardson is on pace to participate when camp opens, but Cabot does note that it's very possible the young running back could be limited in participation as a precaution to ensure he's healthy for the beginning of the regular season.
An earlier ESPN report noted the Browns feared Richardson may have to miss the start of training camp with a leg injury. The team reportedly thought the injury could turn into a stress fracture.
Now, however, Richardson has begun his running program, per Cabot's report, and this means he is on pace as was originally hoped.
