Tyler Thigpen, one of Shutdown Corner's favorite quarterbacks, has been traded from the Kansas City Chiefs to the Miami Dolphins. September 29th will from this day forward be known as Tyler Thigpen(notes) Liberation Day. The Dolphins were thrust into the market for a quarterback when they learned yesterday that starter Chad Pennington(notes) would be out for the season. That left Chad Henne(notes) (10-of-19, 92 yards, one interception, zero touchdowns, 4.8 yards-per-attempt on Sunday against San Diego) and Pat White(notes) as Miami's quarterbacks, so here comes Thiggers to save the day.
