PLAYERS: Dana White
At one point, Dana White said that there was no chance that women would ever fight in the UFC.  Since he made that statement, the UFC has added a 135 pound division, headlined by Ronda Rousey.  Also, the company’s reality competition show, the Ultimate Fighter, has seen higher ratings for women’s fights, so Dana White is taking the next step and adding another women’s division in the 115 pound division. “We’re actually working on bringing in another division for the women, which I said wouldn’t happen for a long time,” White said. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.  The 145 pound class may have been a better route. H/T: MMA Junkie
