Last week we saw a lightly filled schedule really dwindled the options down in Ultimate Hockey. This week things open up a bit more as a lot of teams have four games in the upcoming trade week. However, keep in mind that not every four game week is created equal.
Suppose a team has four games in five days early on. That means the player will see a nice boost in the short term. However if the end of their week involves a long break between games, that break will hurt their value. Should you be low on trades, you might have to sit through some big drops, wiping out all the profit you got from them. Conversely, if a player's dense schedule is more towards the end of the week, he may lose on Thursday or even Friday, but stand to make huge gains on Monday and Tuesday. That may mean holding up on buying him on Thursday if his schedule is light, hoping for a few thousand more to tick off his price tag and then jumping in.
