Three members of the 2011 University of North Carolina women's soccer team -- Amber Brooks, Rebecca Crabb and Adelaide Gay -- have been named to the Capital One/College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District Team it was announced Friday. Brooks was named Academic All-District for the second straight year while Gay and Crabb are first-time honorees.

Improvement was the story for the North Carolina rowing team, which closed out its fall schedule racing at the Head of the Chattahoochee Regatta in Chattanooga, Tenn., on Saturday and Sunday. Across the board, the Tar Heels improved on their results from last season against a competitive field.
