TUF Finale Payroll, Faber tops all with $110,000
TUF Finale Faber vs Jorgensen Fight Breakdown
I am confused by many things in this world but one of the most puzzling is the media’s treatment of Urijah Faber. Just this week Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour in talking to Scott Jorgensen asks if the fighters think, “Urijah gets special treatment and title shots from the UFC.” Jorgensen quickly points out, “that every guy Urijah has lost to is a champion.” The only...
Urijah Faber tops the fighter payroll with $110,000. This list does not include bonus money for FOTN, submission of the night, or KO of the which was $50,000 each and earned by Tate/Zingano, Pineda, and Browne respectively. It also doesn’t include any sponsorship money or any other money given by the UFC. This is just the base salary for each athlete.

Last Saturday night, two longtime staples of the bantamweight division squared off in an entertaining, fast-paced fight in the evening’s main event. Urijah Faber nabbed his second victory in just seven weeks as he submitted friend and former...
From a sporting point of view last week’s event didn’t turn out too badly. Some excellent performances from some, Mousasi did what was expected, although it took a little longer to do. Ross Pearson once again pulled me out of a hole with a 3/1 winner, while Mitrione did as expected, but a little too early to make it profitable. I am still showing a profit on the year, although...
Faber and Jorgensen were friends before they threw down and they are still friends after. Jorgensen put up a decent fight, but made a mistake and Faber capitalized. Faber should get another title shot soon and Jorgensen has a bright future.

Urijah Faber The Next Twilight Star?
The UFC returned to action on Saturday night with the finale of The Ultimate Fighter season 17, which featured the majority of the TUF 17 cast as well as an outstanding women’s bantamweight bout between Cat Zingano and Miesha Tate and a headlining bout between Urijah Faber and Scott Jorgensen. While the card generally featured fights between cast members, there were still some...
It may not have gone down exactly the way that the UFC had hoped it would. Heavily hyped TUF Wrecking Machine Uriah Hall laid a pretty big egg in his TUF finale bout against Kelvin Gastelum, and dropped a Split Decision to the last overall pick on the show.
It’s time to head off into the Octagon to find out just who became the top dog in the 17th finale of the UFC’s Ultimate Fighter, shown live in the early hours of this past Sunday morning on ESPN here in Britain. The broadcast began with middleweight action as Bubba McDaniel faced Gilbert Smith. This proved to be a very enjoyable show opener.
