Vegas Baby! Vegas!: Beer Pong and Parking Lots

This past weekend I went to Vegas and got lost in the Flamingo parking lot. While other parking lots on the strip and pretty much anywhere in the entire world use signs with a letter/number/cartoon character to help you remember where you parked, the Flamingo said "the hell with that" and just bought a whole bunch of Sharpies.When I wasn't get lost in the Flamingo parking lot, I was inside covering the World Series of Beer Pong for LAist. Yes, they have a World Series for that drinking game that you played going to college and they even give out $50,000 to the team that wins. I got to meet an interesting collection of characters who inhabit this sub-culture. Read more about it here.
