PLAYERS: Miro Aaltonen
Watch at your own risk, folks.Finland's Miro Aaltonen suffered a gut-wrenching injury during the first day of the world junior championship on Wednesday. His unfortunate injury came during the third period when he gets tangled up with Latvia's Pauls Zvirbulis. The end result is a broken ankle accompanied with what one can only assume as major pain. The only silver lining for Finland is that they went on to win the game, 5-1. However, they will have to continue on in the tournament without Aaltonen, who managed to score a pair of goals in this contest before succumbing to injury.Via Buzzing the Net.
