The Denver Nuggets have hired Arturas Karnisovas as assistant general manager.
Karnisovas, 42, previously the assistant GM of the Houston Rockets, starred at Seton Hall and won two Olympic bronze medals for Lithuania in 1992 and 1996.
Karnisovas spent the past five seasons with the Rockets, the last one as director of scouting.
The Denver Nuggets are interested in signing Nate Robinson, according to sources close to the situation.
Robinson, 29, averaged 13.1 points and 4.4 assists in 25.4 minutes last season, in 82 games for the Chicago Bulls.
Robinson is unlikely to return to the Bulls, due to the reluctance of Tom Thibodeau.
According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Denver Nuggets are interested in Nate Robinson. The 8-year NBA veteran averaged 13.1 points and 4.4 assists in 25 minutes per game for the Bulls this season – also contributing 16.3 points and 4.4 assists in 12 postseason games before being eliminated by the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
