Larry Fedora has been the head coach of the North Carolina football program for two seasons, and during that time, the Tar Heels have won 15 games. North Carolina was ineligible for the postseason in 2012, but won the Belk Bowl this past season.
Is the program on the rise? Perhaps. Fedora brought in the No. 29 recruiting class in the country in 2014, according to 247Sports team rankings.
Fedora, along with the help of North Carolina’s student newspaper, The Daily Tarheel, made a spoof ESPN commercial, seemingly highlighting the growth of his team.
North Carolina won seven games the season prior to Fedora, which is hardly “the bottom,” and the Tar Heels have averaged 7.5 wins during Fedora’s two seasons, which is hardly “here,” but it’s a good video, nonetheless.
