Seth Davis manages to tick off a few fan bases around this time of the year – in 2013, it’s the Syracuse Orange supporters. Upon hearing that SU would face off against Big Sky champion Montana in the second round of the NCAA Tournament, Davis immediately called the Grizzlies for the upset. That’s right, it was Davis, not noted Syracuse troll Doug Gottlieb who called the Orange getting bounced early. Cuse fans reacted swiftly on Twitter, bashing Davis for having an agenda. But is he right? Will the Orange be a popular upset pick because of their up-and-down season? I get the feeling Seth Davis would pick a trained squirrel to beat Syracuse. — Michael Borkowski (@MBorkowski) March 17, 2013  Analyst Seth Davis said Montana will up syracuse…u out ya mind, u need to find a new day job lol — JaZzY JeFF™ (@IamHIM25) March 18, 2013 Seth Davis must smoke the best crack in Los Angeles because Montana is NOT going to beat Syracuse #selectionsunday #letsgocuse — Nick Olear (@n_olear) March 17, 2013  Seriously. Seth Davis just needs to shut his mouth. He’s just coming off as stupid now. Montana will not beat Syracuse. — Brian Cheney (@bcheneyatc) March 17, 2013 Seth Davis picks Montana over Syracuse. Doug Gottlieb is pissed he didn’t get to pick that one. — Keith Stewart (@thecycle) March 17, 2013 Indeed, Seth. may have to move there RT @nlockridge:making lots of friends out here in Montana. Likes the 13th-seeded Griz upsetting No. 4 seed Syracuse — Seth Davis (@SethDavisHoops) March 17, 2013
