After an exciting night of fights, one of the top MMA promotions in the world has finally shut its doors. Whilst its death may not have been pretty, Strikeforce offered many of us some of the top moments in MMA history as well as an array of memories dating back almost a decade.
The promotion has released the main card highlight video which featured Tarec Saffiedine methodically dissecting Marquardt with a barrage of leg kicks en route to a unanimous decision win over the champ. The card also featured heavyweight Grand Prix champ Daniel Cormier demolishing Dion Starling in two rounds and Josh Barnett submitting his opponent in the opening round.
