The Baltimore Orioles are off to one heck of start to the 2012 Major League Baseball season. They’re winning primarily because their pitchers are throwing the ball better than any of the Natty Boh drinking boys of Baltimore could have believed. They currently sit at 18-9 and 1 back from the Rays in the AL East. In addition to their strong pitching, they’re also getting some help in the field from a couple of the best defenders in the league in Nick Markakis, Matt Wieters and J.J. Hardy.

Shortstop J.J. Hardy is having some trouble getting his bat going in the Orioles lineup, but his glove is working just as well this year as it was in 2011. In 2011, Hardy posted a .990 fielding percentage, which resulted in him taking the number 2 slot in all of the bigs. He made one of the best plays of 2012 in their 6-4 win over the Red Sox on Friday night...
