This is really no surprise, but Will Ferrell has a thing for dressing up in costumes. In fact, way back when he was a student at USC, he would dress up as a janitor and stroll into his friends’ classes — no joke.
Years later, nothing has changed. This week, Ferrell decided to swing by his alma mater and have a little fun with the band. He took up the garb of famous Tommy Trojan, and led the band by sword — it was quite a scene. Here’s video:

Keep doing your thing, Will.
BEST OF MAXIM
Will Ferrell is a well-known, and proud, USC alum.
The funnyman dressed in full drum major's gear on Monday and led the USC marching band as it played the Trojans' legendary fight song.

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, co-stars of Talladega Nights and Step Brothers and forever BFFEs, are rekindling the bromance for a new movie called Devil’s Night. The film will pit the two actors as estranged friends who once bonded over a shared love of the October hooligans’ holiday, Mischief Night.
Here’s a brief synopsis of the film, via The Wrap:
Before Game 5 of the NLCS between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Dodgers, comedian Will Ferrell read the starting lineup for the hometown Dodgers. He has done this before for the New Orleans Hornets/Pelicans and I think it was much funnier. This rendition was just flat out racist if you ask me. But, I’m sure a lot of people got a kick out of it.
Since TBS missed...
Facing elimination in Game 5 of the NLCS, the Los Angeles Dodgers called upon actor Will Ferrell to announce its starting lineup against the St. Louis Cardinals.
On a normal day, in a normal game, this move would seem like a terrific idea. However, given the fact that the Dodgers faced a must-win situation, and the mood was more nervous than jovial, it is puzzling at best why...
In what could have been the Dodgers final game of a magical 2013 season, the organization decided to keep things light and loose.
They recruited Frank the Tank, himself to announce the starting lineup for the Boys.
And wouldn't you know, it was hilarious.

Unfortunately, TBS did not broadcast the hilarity...
Before Game 5 of the NLCS on Wednesday between the Dodgers and Cardinals, Will Ferrell announced the starting lineup for the Dodgers as only he can. He added a superlative to every player's name, including Adrian "AI YAI YAI YAI YAI" Gonzalez, Andre "I Know You Didn't" Ethier, "He Says The Chupacabra is Real" Yasiel Puig, and "He Absolutely...

On Monday, Will Ferrell returned to his alma mater, USC, to speak with students at a charity event for “Cancer For College,” a scholarship program for young cancer survivors. The program was created by Ferrell’s fraternity brother and Trojan baseball alum Craig Pollard, who went through a second bout with Hodgkins-Lymphoma.
The Dodgers are on the brink of elimination, facing the Cardinals in Game 5 in Los Angeles, but they brought out a secret weapon before the do-or-die game — and, no, the rally bear did not make a triumphant return.
Will Ferrell graced Dodger Stadium prior to first pitch and announced the Dodgers’ lineup like only Ron Burgundy could. Ferrell has been promoting “Anchorman 2...
The Trojan Blitz -- Anthony Brown & Morgan Breslin return, Marqise Lee injury update, Will Ferrell leads Trojan band and impersonates Ed Orgeron, Ying Yang music...
On the Dan Patrick show, Will Ferrell came on and did a nice impersonation of Ed Orgeron after Lane Kiffin’s firing. Thank God the most popular Southern California fan has a sense of humor about the inability of Ed’s ability to speak. At least Orgeron made it in Sandra Bullocks’ “The Blind Side.” Ferrell talks about his George Bush impersonation and his love of USC and...
