Tyaunna Marshall scored all 13 of her points in the first half as No. 20 Georgia Tech pulled away early for an 85-48 Atlantic Coast Conference victory over Boston College on Sunday. Metra Walthour got all 10 of her points in the first half for the Yellow Jackets (20-7, 10-4), who posted their highest-ever ACC victory total and sixth consecutive 20-win season. Frida Fogdemark scored all 16 of her points - a career best - in the second half as Georgia Tech was able to substitute liberally after opening up a 35-16 halftime lead against the Eagles (7-20, 2-12). Fogdemark was 4 for 4 on 3-pointers.

Syracuse women’s lacrosse team opens the 2012 season when it hosts Boston College on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. in the Carrier Dome. The Orange begins its 15th season with an all-time record of 163-76. Syracuse is ranked No. 12 in both the IWLCA poll and the Inside Lacrosse media poll, while Boston College ranks 13th in the IWLCA poll and 8th in the Inside Lacrosse media poll.
