W. Basketball. Simpson's Career-High 25 Points Not Enough For Mustangs At Tulane

NEW ORLEANS, La. (SMU) - Akil Simpson scored a career-high 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season, but Tulane had five players in double-figures and hit 12 free throws in the last two minutes to take a 75-63 victory in Fogelman Arena. SMU fell to 12-10 overall and 5-4 in Conference USA, while Tulane improved to 17-5 overall and claimed sole possession of fourth in the conference at 6-3 in league play.
