Utah State head soccer coach Heather Cairns announced Monday the addition of one more player for the 2012 season. Junior midfielder Tessa Nicolaides will transfer from Saint Mary's and will be eligible to play next season. Nicolaides is the ninth member of the 2012 USU soccer signing class.

Utah State softball was scheduled to play its final game of the Red & Black Showcase on Sunday morning against Campbell College at 9 a.m. (MT), however, the game was cancelled due to cold temperatures and will not be rescheduled. USU finished with a 2-2 record in the Showcase with a victory over North Carolina State on Friday and a win against St. John's on Saturday.
