The BU Valentine Invitational provided the stage for Boston College men's track and field freshman Jon Vaughn to run the second fastest 60-meter dash in school history on Saturday. The rookie out of Canton, Mass. blazed the track in 7.15 seconds, the swiftest time by an Eagle since Jonathan Ordway set the school record of 6.89 in 2000.

The Eagles (19-8-3, 11-4-2 Hockey East) travel to Freitas Ice Forum for a 1 p.m. skate with the Huskies (4-19-7, 3-11-3 HE) on Saturday, Feb. 11. The teams close out the season series with a 2 p.m. meeting at Kelley Rink the next day.
