According to the Eagles Insider on Twitter, the team has released offensive lineman Ed Wang. Wang was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2010 and has also been on the Oakland Raiders in his long and storied NFL career. He will continue on his path to attend training camp with all 32 NFL teams. Please, feel free to release all of your very appropriate Wang jokes and comments below. Also, here’s a clip from Caddyshack! Jairus Byrd ends holdout

Jairus Byrd has ended his holdout and agreed to a deal with the Buffalo Bills. See what will happen next with the safety.

Bills’ EJ Manuel to undergo ‘minor’ knee surgery, miss remainder of preseason

Buffalo Bills rookie quarterback EJ Manuel was in a heated competition to be the team’s starter Week 1 with veteran signal caller Kevin Kolb. Entering the weekend, it was up in the air who would be under center to open the regular season. However, The Bills announced yesterday that Manuel will undergo “minor” knee surgery, which will sideline him for the remainder of the preseason...

Bills release longtime kicker Rian Lindell

The move was confirmed by the team on twitter Monday morning. Lindell, 36, was given a four-year deal worth $11 million just a year and a half ago but the Bills have opted to...

Manuel has 'procedure' on left knee

Buffalo quarterback EJ Manuel had what Bills coach Doug Marrone would only call ''a procedure'' on his left knee Sunday morning and will miss the rest of the preseason. Marrone, who declined to characterize the medical attention the quarterback received as anything other than a ''procedure,'' says it was ''very, very minor'' and that...

BuffalOkie Mondays: Three Questions

With three weeks left until the regular season, here are my three questions based on what we’ve seen from the Bills so far: 1) Is Kevin Kolb simply rusty or should we assume the worst? Kolb completed 13 of 21 pass attempts against the Vikings on Friday night for 111 yards.  If you just saw those numbers (which, due to the blackout, many of you did), you’d think Kolb was good...

Don’t Give Up On Da’Rick

As soon as the NFL Draft ended in April, the Bills made it their priority to sign troubled undrafted free agent wide receiver Da’Rick Rogers. There was excitement throughout the Bills’ fan base with the signing of the talented wide receiver. However, if you’ve watched Buffalo’s two preseason games this summer, there is little evidence of Roger’s presence on the offense...

Still No Progress Between The Bills & Jairus Byrd

Bills GM Doug Whaley told reporters on Tuesday that there’s ”nothing new” regarding S Jairus Byrd’s holdout. “We hope he gets in here before the season opener,” Whaley said, via the Buffalo News. “But only he can tell us on that one.” Byrd, 26, received the team’s franchise tag back in March, but the deadline to workout a long-term deal has already passed. Byrd’s...

Where they stand after 46 games...CJ VS OJ/Thurman

CJ Spiller is now the Bills’ starting running back, thanks to his breakout season last year. He was obviously underutilized last year under Chan Gailey, but that should change as the Bills plan to feed him the ball a ton this year. The increased workload this season shouldn’t reduce Spiller’s effectiveness very much and could launch him to becoming one of the greatest running...

Bubble Watch Updated

Last week I thought that three players were on the bubble who the Bills might regret cutting. Of course that was before Buffalo released long time kicker Rian Lindell (which I predicted), and LB Nigel Bradham was cited for marijuana possession. Continued drug busts and off the field issues can get even the best of players assigned to bubble watch but, since this is a first offense...

Guest Post: Fantasy value of Bills' RBs

The Buffalo Bills are looking for an improvement on last year's 6-10 season, and fans are setting their sights on a playoff run. The team will certainly be going through some changes, the most notable of which will be that former Florida State QB EJ Manuel figures to get the starting role from week 1. But rookie QBs have thrived in recent years, and when you consider the fact...

Second Take with Brad Gelber- How KneeJ Manuel Broke The Internet

Remember last week when I wrote about hating preseason football? Yea, this is precisely why. While the Buffalo Bills escaped Week 1 of their preseason unscathed, in Week 2 they weren’t so lucky… I was driving home yesterday when I got a notification on my phone that said “EJ Manuel to miss final two games of the preseason due to knee injury.” The game the...

Jon Gruden Would Give 1st Rounder For Kirk Cousins

This is how we get Matt Flynn, Matt Cassell, and Kevin Kolb ruining NFL franchises. Gruden does seem to love everybody but a first rounder? You know if Gruden thinks this, then there are executives and coaches around the league who feel the same. When will they learn?
