Found April 18, 2013 on CLNS Radio:
For the last 5 years, I have been a   Boston Celtics blogger. Rarely swaying my attention or coverage, I usually stick to my sport... most of the CLNS Beat teams are thankful for that. Today, as the events of April 15, 2013 continue to penetrate the hearts and minds of all Americans, it's hard for me not to extend you the images and sounds of the tributes of all sports teams around the country. As the city of Boston mourns and attempts to recover, the rest of the nation joins together in their prayers and pride in New England's display of strength, courage and unity. As we've seen all over the country, this week everyone is a Bostonian, even the dreaded New York Yankees paid tribute. As my Boston Celtics are priming up for what should be a classic first round series with the New York Knicks, the Boston Bruins were taking on the Buffalo Sabres in the first sporting event at TD Garden since tragedy struck. We will start our brief tour around North America on Causeway Stree...

Live Game Updates - Celtics @ Raptors

9:18: At the half, the Raptors lead the Celtics, 59-49. They don't need to win this game, so I'm not upset about this deficit. But it'd still be better if they were ahead. Bradley and Pierce both have 11. Crawford has 7.

Your Morning Dump…where the Celtics could provide a welcome distraction

We are about 48 hours past one of the worst events to happen in our lifetime in the city of Boston. There are still many in shock from what happened, whether it is the disbelief that we were caught so off-guard, or unfortunately having a loved one who was involved in the attacks. The entire state feels as if it has a blanket of disbelief and sorrow hanging over its head. Rightfully...

Raptors-Celtics Gather At Center Court, Hold Moment Of Silence For Boston Marathon Victims

The Toronto Raptors hosted the Boston Celtics Wednesday night in what would be their final game of the season. Knicks' Amar'e Stoudemire Unlikely to Play Series Vs. Celtics

The Boston Celtics won't have to worry about stopping New York Knicks' Amar'e Stoudemire because they likely won't see him. According to Ian Begley of ESPN New York, the Knicks camp is doubtful that Stoudemire will play in the first round Celtics-Knicks series. Stoudemire has been absent from the team for more than a month after needing a second debridement on this...

Celtics End Regular Season With Whimper, Prepare for What Should Be Emotional Playoffs

This was destined to feel a little strange. The Celtics took the court for the first time since the Boston Marathon bombings not at TD Garden, but in Toronto, closing out the regular season with their 81st game in a matchup that meant nothing, against an opponent already greedily counting its draft lottery ping-pong balls. Somehow, though, it felt even stranger than anticipated....
