Daniel Hamilton, a 6-foot-7, 175-pound forward from Bellflower, CA., will take an unofficial visit to Louisville next weekend for the Cards game against Kentucky.
Rick Pitino and his staff expect to host a number of high level prospects next weekend, but Hamilton is the first to confirm the visit.
Hamilton is rated as a 4-star prospect by Scout.com and is considered to be one of the top small forwards in the 2014 class. He has scholarship offers from Kansas, Baylor, Louisville, Kansas, USC, UCLA, UTEP, Washington and San Diego State.
He is the younger brother of former Texas forward Jordan Hamilton who is now in the NBA. His other brother, Isaac is a member of the 2013 class and is committed to UTEP. Louisville assistant coach Wyking Jones has been targeting Hamilton since the summer.
