The Connecticut Whale have signed undrafted free agent forward Barclay Goodrow to an ATO. Goodrow, who just finished his fourth season with the Brampton Battalion of the OHL, led the team with 38 goals in 62 games this season. The 6’2, 214 lb, 20-year old forward scored at least 20 goals in each of his last three seasons. He also scored five points (2-3-5) in five playoff games this season. As more teams are eliminated from CHL contention, expect some ATOs to be signed by a few guys. This is essentially a tryout for Goodrow. Tweet

HARTFORD, April 10, 2013:  Connecticut Whale general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Whale has signed forward Barclay Goodrow to an Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreement.
