OK. Many of you tell me you want to manage the Rangers. Here's yet another chance on this blog to do so. The Rangers have a big game tonight. They do not want to fall 3 1/2 games behind the Angels in the AL West. They are facing a lefty in Joe Saunders. What is your lineup? I had a few options in mind, but here's one I settled on. It's a little different, but this club isn't hitting so why not? 2B Ian Kinsler SS Elvis Andrus 3B Michael Young DH Andruw Jones CF Marlon Byrd RF Nelson Cruz 1B Chris Davis C Jarrod Saltalamacchia LF Julio Borbon It's not an easy call on this, but I throw this out as a conversation starter. There are several guys who have trouble hitting lefties, so choosing which ones play is tough at times. I'd sit Murphy (.156 vs. lefties). I know he's been the best hitter on this team recently, but I also think the Rangers seem committed to getting Borbon in there. I would try to break up the righty-lefty stuff at the bottom of the order...
