The local news in Los Angeles deteriorates further.
You remember the local news in Los Angeles—they never met a car chase that they didn’t like; their helicopters followed O. J. Simpson’s vehicle as he drove his kids to 31 Flavors; and as soon as there is one drop of moisture in the air, they have team reports from throughout the area on potential damages from the rain.
In the past, Los Angeles television station had on-the-air weather forecasters with a background, even a degree in meteorology. Then they started added people who were weather reporters—Kelly Lange, Pat Sajak, and Fritz Coleman (who was a comedian)—who were just that: reporters.
Now they have ladies who can stand in front of weather maps, radar, and satellite and read the weather while showing their physical enhancements.
Anything for ratings.
