Elliott Sadler has a 12-point lead over defending Nationwide Series point leader Ricky Stenhouse Jr., but what does the future hold for the Richard Childress Racing driver next year? Sadler told his crew prior to Saturday night's NNS race that he doesn't have a deal with RCR for next season. However, principals at RCR insist that's simply not the case. When Kevin Harvick Inc., was absorbed by RCR at the end of the 2011 season, Sadler was part of the package. This is Sadler's second full Nationwide season since 1998. Prior to his return, Sadler spent 12 years in Cup. However, he only qualified for the Chase for the Sprint Cup once - the inaugural season in 2004 while driving for Robert Yates. Besides that season, Sadler only cracked the top 15 in the point standings on one other occasion. In 24 starts this season, the Luke Lambert-led team has earned four wins, 11 top-fives and 18 top-10 finishes. Sadler took over the points lead at Dover in June and stayed atop the standings for 13 races.
