The Colorado-Nebraska game was a fun game to watch, but it wasn't the final outing you might have expected for Roy Helu. He's carried the team at times in recent seasons. He's also had good games against Oklahoma.
In the bloodletting that was the 2008 game in Norman, Helu was the bright spot for Nebraska. He rushed for 157 yards on sixteen carries including a 14-yard touchdown run. He also had two catches for nineteen yards.
In 2009, he toted the rock 20 times for 138 yards in the Husker victory. He also had three catches for fifteen yards. It's hard to imagine Nebraska winning that game without Helu's performance.
