Found February 09, 2012 on Timberwolves Central:
All the conclusions I will post are based strictly on the wins produced stat, which IMO is the best stat in explaining why a team wins or loses basketball games. The wins produced stat had us at 13.4 wins before last night (and last night surely reduced this) so the stat is pretty dead on for the Wolves win production. 25 games in (the stat has not been updated from last night’s game) is not a huge sample size, especially for some players who have been hurt or play limited minutes, but it is the only sample size we have. Almost all the difference in winning this year versus how we did not win last year can be summed up in two statements: •Rubio >>>>>>> Flynn - Rubio is playing at an elite level (yesterday notwithstanding) and Flynn was a complete scrub. The difference between elite and horrible is huge. •Pek of 2012 >>>>>>> Pek of 2011 and Darko Yes, we can talk about a deeper bench, we can give credit to Adelman(...
