Johnny Weir says he is returning to competitive figure skating in hopes of competing at the Sochi Olympics in 2014.
The three-time U.S. champion said Thursday he still has the drive to compete and that this ''isn't a publicity stunt.'' Weir hasn't competed since finishing sixth at the Vancouver Olympics, spending the last two years doing ice shows, a reality TV show and making personal appearances. Weir finished fourth at his first Olympics, the 2006 Games in Turin. He was the bronze medalist at the 2008 world championships.
