Washington Wizards’ forward Otto Porter knew when he injured his right hip flexor on September 13, that it would take some time before getting back on the court. But he never could have envisioned it would take as long as it has to begin practicing again.
“The way it happened, I knew something was wrong right then and there. I knew it wasn’t a one-week, two-week type of thing. But I really didn’t know it was going to be this long.”
As reported by J. Michael of CSNWashington.com, head coach Randy Wittman was pleasantly surprised to see Porter, who has been out with right hamstring tightness, on the court. Although having Porter on the court was a positive, it doesn’t mean he’s anywhere near game ready.
