Wrestling. Cowboy Wrestlers Earn Split At NWCA National Duals

Oklahoma State rounded up some of the nation's top prospects for their Junior Day. One of the top recruits in the Austin region that visited the Cowboys in Stillwater, Oklahoma was Michael Egwuagu.

Oklahoma State will hope it can keep it in the family as Darius Curry of Flowery Branch is one of the highest-rated 2013 cornerback prospects in the nation. The 6-1, 190-pound Curry happens to be the younger brother of C.J. Curry, who signed Feb. 1 with the Cowboys as a wide receiver in the 2012 recruiting class. This is not a brother deal as both for the Currys can stand on their own talents.

The No. 63 San Diego State men's tennis team picked up 5-2 victory against Oklahoma State on Saturday afternoon at Fertitta Tennis Complex in Las Vegas, Nev. With the win, SDSU improves to 4-1 on the year, while the Cowboys drop to 3-1 on the season.

Redshirt freshman Brian Williams was a key figure in Oklahoma State’s upset of then-No. 2 Missouri on Jan. 25. Williams had a then career-high 22 points in the upset. Williams and the Cowboys head to face No. 3 Missouri in a rematch on Wednesday. Williams met with the media on Monday and discussed his redshirt year, the press against KU and the upcoming game with the Tigers.

Fresh off a career-high 25 points in his last game versus Baylor, junior center Jeff Withey set another new career-high, this time with 20 rebounds in an 81-66 win over the Oklahoma State Cowboys on Saturday afternoon in Allen Fieldhouse.

The National Wrestling Coaches Association announced today that Oklahoma State University will host the "Mat Mayhem Championship Finals" on Sunday, Feb. 19, at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Okla.
