By Jim Donaldson Spare me, please, the indignation over Gisele Bundchen's post-Super Bowl comments about the bad hands displayed by the Patriots' receivers.

Should she have ignored the heckling of Giants fans?

In an ideal world, sure.

Should she not have said anything about the assorted drops by various Pats' pass catchers?

Obviously not, since it's not as if husband Tommy's throws all were on target.

But the woman is a Brasilian supermodel. She's not an expert in American football. She was defending her husband.

I can't blame her.
