Maybe it is the big man in me--or just me--but I love it when a big guy scores. They aren't expected to. Ore often than not they are the battering ram; the workhorses of the team. So when they get the chance to score--well, it's a thing of beauty. Like when Redskins linebacker Ryan Kerrigan ran an interception in for a touchdown against Pittsburgh Monday night. @GoldAndOrSmith/Twitter Of course the best part of a big man scoring is the big man celebration. Now maybe since Kerrigan is a linebacker and not a big 'big man' he may not have done a big man celebration, but since the NFL has pretty much banned them it doesn't matter. Even if celebrations were not banned I don't think it is possible to ever top this big man celebration:

PFZ Monday Column: Is Robert Griffin III smart enough to protect himself this season?

With the 2013 NFL regular season only a few weeks away I don’t believe there’s a question that Robert Griffin III will be ready to go for the Redskins Monday night opener against the Eagles.  The biggest concern is if he can actually stay healthy for an entire 16-game regular season. I honestly have my doubts.  While Griffin is a better quarterback than Michael Vick,  their...

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly vs. the Steelers

The Redskins got their second preseason win in as many games Monday night when they defeated the Steelers 24-13. While there were plenty of highlights during the game, there was also plenty of mistakes and lowlights. Many sites do a good, bad, and the ugly, and this is my version:   THE GOOD -Ryan Kerrigan: Ryan Kerrigan dominated in his time on the field and this was without Rak...

Washington QB Kirk Cousins sprained his foot Monday against the Steelers, but an MRI came back negative and he should be ready for Week 1.Fantasy Spin:Cousins only has fantasy value as the handcuff to Robert Griffin III, but given the seriousness of his injury, owners must roster Cousins or be prepared to spend a middle pick on another quality quarterback.

Both teams made their fair share of mistakes in this game, but the Redskins capitalized on the Steelers’ mistakes, while the Steelers did not make the most of their opportunities.
