Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young will miss the Lions annual Thanksgiving Day game. Titus Young
Young has been suspended by Lions head coach Jim Schwartz. The young wide receiver was sent home from the Lions practice facility on Monday after he was caught causing a scene on the sidelines on Sunday.
Schwartz has said that Young’s behavior has affected the team. He also said that Young’s status will be re-evaluated for next week.
“It’s your job to make the team happy, it’s not the team’s job to make you happy,” Schwartz said.
There is speculation that Young has been disciplined for “whining, pouting, and sulking” with Matt Stafford not throwing the ball his way enough. He has been affected by character questions dating back to Boise State.
Rookie Ryan Broyles is expected to see more playing time against the Houston Texans. Broyles will be the Lions third receiver in the game.
