Your Trade Deadline Coverage: Wherein your Blogger Laughs and Laughs and Laughs and Laughs

(Photo: Getty Images)Gentle readers, here's the scoop. I was in Ottawa this past Monday until...well just a couple of hours actually as a mini-vacation. I hesitate to use the word "pleasure" because well, I went to see the steaming pile of crap that was the Senators versus the Flames last night and I hesitate to use that word when describing the game. To be fair, I really enjoyed my experience at Scotiabank Place. Well, everything that took place off the ice anyways.So this morning, I boarded the plane at around 11 a.m. and by the time I had landed, got into the car and turned on the radio I had heard something about Martin Gerber being claimed off waivers.
