During the third period of the Red Wings and Blue Jackets game yesterday, Henrik Zetterberg received a five minute major and was ejected for boarding in a race for the puck with Jackets defenseman Nikita Nikitin. The major penalty was the first of Zetterberg's career which has accumulated for 634 games. In the race for the puck, Zetterberg made some contact with his hand on Nikitin's back who lost his balance and went crashing into the boards. The play was an unfortunate one and there should be no further discipline for Zetterberg."The puck was down in the corner," Zetterberg said of the play. "I chased down their defenseman. You know I had my hand on his back. I don't think I pushed him hard. He went down. It looked bad. It looks really bad so can't blame the referee to give me a 5 minutes."
