Fanster Fastcast : April 6th - U of A has a coach, stick a fork in the Suns, and the D-Backs get started

A ridiculously busy Monday led to a spirited Fanster Fastcast on Monday. The U of A made by hiring a new head coach, Sean Miller of Xavier, who less than 12 hours earlier, had turned down the job. Vince thinks Arizona A.D. Jim Livengood recovered nicely and made a good hire. Matt thinks that Miller's o.k., but Livengood should still be fired, and Greg was hoping for a bigger name to help revitalize U of A's program. The guys also talked about former U of A benchwarmer and assistant coach Josh Pastner, who will be named the new head coach at Memphis. Did Arizona miss a great hire that was right under their nose the whole time? Also on the table today, the NCAA Championship Game in Detroit, the Suns' putrid effort in Dallas, the Diamondbacks' batting practice exhibition season-opening win over the Rockies, and the futures of the Arena Football League and the Arizona Rattlers are very much in doubt again.
