McNabb breaks down SB XLII for the Yard

Numero Cinco breaks down Super Bowl XLII.

If the Giants want to win, D-Mac suggests to Eli that he take a page out of Trent Dilfer's playbook. Don't try to win the game, Manning Lite; just don't lose it. But he thinks it can be done: "New England actually hasn't played that well in the last couple Super Bowls."

Before you haters start twisting D-Mac's words, consider this: The Patriots failed to cover the spread in each of the last two Super Bowls, and all three of New England's Lombardi Trophy victories came by a lone field goal. Three points, folks. Given the circumstances, that's not a lot.

- Dewey

PS: It was me who dubbed Eli, "Manning Lite" -- not McNabb.
