The NHL Now Just Making Up Rules As They Go
You may have seen the video from Sunday's Rangers-Devils game of Sean Avery blatantly trying to distract Martin Brodeur by waving his hands and stick back and forth in front of him. The NHL took notice of this and immediately implemented a rule making this an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Does this seem absurd to anyone else or is it just me?
