Via today’s New York Post:

The Jets’ star kick returner was accused of unnecessary roughness off the field yesterday - allegedly punching a woman in the face during a fight with her outside a Chelsea nightclub.

Justin Miller, 23, who made the Pro Bowl last year, was charged with misdemeanor assault in the dispute, which unfolded at 4:15 a.m. near West 16th Street and Ninth Avenue, according to court papers.

And via Sunday’s Page Six:

IT’S hard out there for a professional athlete who gets no attention from the usually man-hungry ladies at Clifton, N.J., nightspot The Bliss Club. Sources say New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress insulted female patrons there and “left the club without paying his $2,000 tab.”

Not the sort of media attention that either club is looking for at the moment.

I knew I'd made the right decision when I was on the field tonight. "I feel like I'm a Jet. I do. It's still a little bit awkward, but I feel like I'm here for a reason. I told the guys I'm here to help them win."
